Another award for Sing Out Bristol

Your favourite award winning choir has done it again!

Last night, as part of an impressive awards ceremony in the Old Market Assembly, in front of an audience from Bristol's wonderful LGBT community, local celebrities, including the Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees and all broadcast on local radio, we were presented with the Shout Out Listeners' Award for Best Performance Group.  Congratulations to all the other winners on the night and a huge well done to the organisers for putting on such a fabulous event for free.

A Few Tickets Remaining For Fifty Shades Of Gay

Have you forgotten something?  If you are one of those people who like to wait until the last minute to do things, you could be in for a disappointment, this year.  Ticket sales for our annual concert in April have been way ahead of usual.  As a consequence, there aren't many left, so head over to  http://www.stgeorgesbristol.co.uk/event/sing-out-bristol-annual-concert/  to grab yours now, before they are all gone.

See you in April!

Choir News

Some exciting happenings in the world of Sing Out Bristol... An action packed rehearsal last night, saw us record a segment for a forthcoming Radio 4 project (Young Soul Music) in conjunction with UWE Music Students, focusing on LGBT Equality.  We also turned up the heat on our practising for the forthcoming concert in April, including a stirring rendition of NIghts In White Satin and some fun choralography for our musical medley in this concert.

A Thank You To The Choir

We recently received a lovely thank you letter and certificate from our friends at Ronald McDonald House, after we performed at their pre- Christmas fundraiser in Cabot Circus. We helped them raise a record £1400 from the event, so well done everyone who took part or came to watch and donate on the day.
